Early Life and Career
Colin Kelly Jost was born on June 29, 1982, and is an American comedian, writer, and actor known for his role as a staff writer for the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live (SNL).

Jost joined the writing staff of SNL in 2005 and became co-head writer in 2017, a position he held until 2022. He was also co-anchor of the show's "Weekend Update" segment from 2014 to 2023.
Other Work
In addition to his work on SNL, Jost has also appeared in several films, including "Trainwreck" (2015), "How to Be Single" (2016), and "The King of Staten Island" (2020). He has also hosted the web series "Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday" and the podcast "An Important Conversation with Colin Jost."
